Eligibility Criteria:

1. BPES (3 / 4 Years) / BPED (4 & 2 years) / B.S.S (Sports Science) Graduation with Physical Education having minimum 50% marks for General Category, 45% marks for SC/ST/OBC, and for candidates who have participated at International/National/State/Inter-University levels (Position holders may be preferred).
2. The students who have done BPED (4 and 2 years), 3 / 4 years BPES, B.Sc. (Sports Science) Yoga/Sports & Other Physical Education and Sports related courses & those who have participated in any Sports Competition at the International/State/University Levels. (Position Holders will be preferred).

Admission Procedure

Admission Procedure: The candidate who fulfills the eligibility criteria will be admitted based on the following parameters:

1. Physical Fitness Test (PFT): The candidate must qualify in the PFT as per norms and standards. The position holders and participants at the national and international level respectively will be exempted from PFT.
2. Academic marks: Maximum 20 Marks. Percentage of marks obtained in graduation as per eligibility criteria multiplied by 0.20.
3. Weightage for additional qualification: Maximum 05 Marks. To be awarded to a candidate for any additional qualification to include PGD in one or more disciplines in Yogasana/ Sports Coaching in any discipline/ Sports Management/ Health, Fitness & Wellness/ Sports Nutrition/ Sports Psychology/ any other sports/ physical education related Diploma.
4. Written Entrance Test: Maximum 30 Marks. To be conducted by the University as per the syllabus of graduation.
5. Sports weightage: Maximum 40 marks as per Annexure 4.
6. Co-curricular Activities: Maximum 05 Marks. For participation/performance in NSS/NCC/Boys Scout/Co-curricular activities at Zonal Level Competitions.
7. Combined Merit: will be prepared and seats to be allotted as per reservation of various categories as per Punjab Govt. norms.
8. Reservation and relaxation in marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other categories shall be as per Punjab State rules.
