Physical Fitnes Test (PFT)

It is mandatory for the candidate to appear & score minimum 60% marks in all the following PFTs' to become eligible for admission in the BPES course and MPES course.

Pull Ups (For Boys)

Flexed Arm Hang (For Girls)

Flexed Leg Sit-Ups (in one Minute)

Shuttle Run

Standing Broad Jump

50m Dash

600 m Run

The minimum standards to qualify are tabulated below :-

Note:
  • The criteria for weightage in sports will be given only for the games mentioned in the Punjab Govt. Sports Policy and those listed in the AIU notification for the award of MAKA Trophy.
  • Maximum/Higher level participation in sports has to be supplemented with lower level participation certificates in that game based on which the higher level participation was made.
  • Marks will be given only for one participation in the particular tournament irrespective of number of participations.
  • Only those International, National and State level tournaments/Championships will be considered, which are duly recognized by International/National/State sports federations/associations.
