It gives me immense pleasure to see the progress of The Maharaja Bhupinder Singh Punjab Sports University since its inception in 2019. The establishment of the University is a step in the right direction to empower the Youth of Punjab for the myriad job avenues and achieve excellence in Sports at the international level.

The need for acquiring specialization in modern scientific sports studies, the significance of physical cum mental health highlighted by two years of Covid Pandemic and the intense involvement of the private sector in the development of Sports Infrastructure have opened up a vast array of job opportunities in the field of sports.

I hope that academic programs of University will promote sports education & research and wish the Maharaja Bhupinder Singh Punjab Sports University good tidings.
