Vision
The MBSPSU envisions "To emerge as a state of the art specialized sports University by evolving a viable and sustained Eco-System of Integration & Application of multi-dimensional academic aspects of Sports Education with practical aspects of Coaching in University and corroborating with various State level Sports Institutions to produce elite sports-persons of international standards and empower the Youth for diverse career opportunities in the fast-expanding Sports Industry."
Mission
1. To impart quality education in sports science, biomechanics, physiology and nutrition, technology, management, psychology, physiotherapy and rehabilitation, yoga, health, fitness, and wellness through research and advance studies and create diverse career opportunities for the youth of Punjab.
2. To produce elite sportspersons of international standards by integrating the multi-dimensional academic aspects of scientific, physiological, and psychological education with the practical aspects of coaching, including in various sports schools, academies and other institutions of Punjab seeking collaborative assistance from renowned international universities and national institutions.
3. To continually strive to revive the erstwhile glorious Sports Culture of Punjab by optimally exploring the vast reservoir of human potential in various sports and games, including traditional rural games.
